Sometimes good things come to us later in life. October 10, 2009 – opened an email with video: ‘Til I Hear You Sing” by Ramin Karimloo – took :33 to fall totally in LOVE. Who is this handsome man, with the incredible voice, the strange name, and the role of Phantom in ALW’s sequel to The Phantom of the Opera? Traveled to London May 2010 to see (first time) Phantom of the Opera, and the sequel Love Never Dies (4 times). Somehow between his emergency appendectomy, the Icelandic volcano, and his sprained ankle, I managed to see him perform in LND and also meet him at SD 3 times. This close encounter with a Youtube video opened so many doors for me. So sorry LND is closing in London, but continuing run in Melbourne. Good news: Ramin will play Phantom in the 25th Anniversary Concert at Albert Hall in London this October.
